Using laptop running on Microsoft Vista.
Have not had this problem when writing the same type of e-mails using Outlook and Windows Hotmail (running system Microsoft XP).
Have tried looking at "options" to see if can make a change.

Using Windows troubleshooter:

Click on Search on Charm bar and type Troubleshooting. Click on the very first option.
A new window will open. Click View all from the left pane.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on Windows update.
Troubleshooter window for Windows update will pop up. Click on NEXT. It may ask you for administrative permission.
The troubleshooter will automatically detect problems and fix it.
Now, close this window and try download/install the app which was previously showing error.

Running Vista Home Premium 64-bit, version 6.0.6002.18005, whenever I try to run Disk Cleanup I get the message "Disk Cleanup cannot clean up drive X:\.".
This happens regardless of drive chosen (C, D (factory image partition), or F (attached backup drive)),
and regardless of whether I am running it for my files only or those of all users.
It also happens when I boot up in safe mode.
C: drive has 314 GB of 687 GB free.
It has NTFS file system.

Hi.
Trying to download some fiels from Microsoft download center, but receiving the following message: "Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded"
Have tried the following in IE 9:
Turned off Protected mode.
The page is added to Trusted site.
         Trusted site is configured as follows:
                         Dowloads is Enablet
                        Font download is Enablet
           Under Miscellaneous has the following settings:
                        Allow META REFRESH, enablet
                         Allow webpages to use restrict3ed protocols for active content, Prompt
                         Allow webpages tgo open windows without address or status bar, enablet
                         Launching applications and unsafe files, Pompt
                         Launceing programs and files in an IFRAME Promt

Still not possible to download a security patch from Microsoft download senter.

Looking forward to a solution.

Running disk defragmenter on internal HD (C:).
Hangs at 31% analyzed.
Have read about running check disk.
Have already run check disk after reboot.
Came back with no problems.
No idea what is causing the hang or what to do next.
P.S.
Running Windows 7 Home that is up to date on downloads.

g.      When you are prompted, click Restart.

OT: Acer Aspire 5552 Disk Read Error
Okay, my brother's computer is 3 weeks old and is already has major issues.
His computer every so often has a boot up problem and will get stuck as the 'Starting Windows' logo and sign.
Today however, it will load up the Acer logo and then will 'Disk Read Error:
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to Restart' and this won't do anything.

Furthermore Acer's have a really weird BIOS section and no recovery console.
In addition to this, Acer do not supply their own recovery disc and the custom made recovery discs don't run or load up.

When I bought my new computer it had another person's name on it because I bought the last one...
so whenever I made documents the author would be their name.
I sent out a document to someone and then I found out how to change the name on the computer.
Now all the documents have the new name, and it changed the name on all documents.
My question is will the document I sent out before the name change have my new account name on it or the old one?
