Hello, 

I really could use some help if someone has the time.
:-)
My desktop computer is behaving oddly since I did a restore point.
I did the restore point because I couldn't get online, oddly enough it turned out to be a loose wire. 

Anyway, now there is a application that keeps popping up in my task manager using up most of my cpu, so my 
computer gets bogged down. It's named dllhost.exe COM surrogate and when I opened it's location
it was in my windows32 folder.
It's not my services that I can see,but it seems to be related to playing 
video or music files.
I might be wrong. 

I have done the usual virus scan (avast free antivirus and malwarbytes free edition), I defragmented 
my computer, I ran a system scan, I ran a memory scan ....
 I can't figure it out. 

Any suggestions? 

My computer has 16 gb of installed RAM and 1 TB harddrive I'm running Windows 7 
professional 64 bit.

what I have been doing is going to windows task manager, processes, alphabetize the description column, which you can list by going to view and select column, then go down to com surrogate and right click and select end process....you might have to do
