Creating a Custom Drop Down Box in Excel

I'm using MS Office Excel 2007. I have created a list of 25 names in one column.
In a column to the right I created a drop down box that allows me to select one of the names in the list in the first column.
How do I create a second drop down box that allows me to select a name from the name list and does NOT allow the first selected name to be one of the choices?
In addition, each time I create a new drop down box, I want to make sure that the list of available names grows shorter and does NOT allow any of the previously selected names to appear in each of the new boxes.
